Job description

Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Collection Executive at our growing company. As a Collection Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the collection process, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

The Collection Executive will work closely with the finance and accounting team to develop and implement collection strategies, monitor and analyze collection data, and provide recommendations for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of collection management, accounting control, and collective bargaining. They should also possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the collection process, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize collection rates and minimize bad debt
  • Analyze and monitor collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance collection efficiency
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with customers to resolve outstanding debts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date collection records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to reconcile customer accounts
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or disputes related to collections
  • Prepare and present collection reports to management on a regular basis
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in collection management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in collection management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting control and collective bargaining
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret collection data
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using collection management software
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • 12th grade educational qualification
