Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Contract Mobile Research Nurse. As a growing company, we are seeking an individual who can contribute their expertise and passion to our team. The Contract Mobile Research Nurse will play a crucial role in conducting research and providing nursing care to clinical trial patients in a mobile / home setting. This position requires a talented individual with strong nursing skills and the ability to work in a mobile / home settings.

The Contract Mobile Research Nurse will be responsible for perform home nursing visits, collecting blood samples, data in various locations, including Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, and Ludhiana. The ideal candidate should have a BSC in Nursing and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in nursing care. This is a ferelance / contract based on-demand position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within our company.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients’ home for performing clinical trial assessments as prescribed in the clinical study Protocol.
• Perform all assessments and procedures in accordance to the ICH GCP guidelines and local regulations.
• Monitoring of vital signs during home care; blood pressure, heart rate, recording of ECG, temperature and oximeter statistics
• Monitoring of blood glucose levels
• Complete evaluation tasks, including identifying changes in medication and vital signs.
• Administer Investigational Products to the patient according to the study protocol.
• Collect blood / biological samples as per the study protocol.
• Perform processing of blood samples using Centrifuge.
• Ability to complete the study documentation like QoL Questionnaires, Patient Diaries etc.
• Coordinate with PI and Clinical Trial Site team for the study related documentation / materials handover.
• Coordinate with the research team for shipment of samples.
• Keep the patient comfortable while performing the assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in nursing
• Valid nursing registration certificate is a must
• 1-3 years of experience in nursing care
• Strong knowledge of nursing care principles and practices
• Proficiency in physical assessment techniques and phlebotomy procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Candidate preferred with own vehicle as Local travel is involved
