Job description

Purpose and Overview

As a Finance & Accounts - MRU, the candidate will be expected to have a deep understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, conducting accounting analysis, and researching accounting issues as needed. The candidate should also have experience with finance software and be able to leverage technology to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. The Finance & Accounts - MRU will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

The Finance & Accounts - MRU will be based in Surat (Gujarat) and will work on-site in a full-time capacity. The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong educational background in B.COM and ICWA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) availment in GST records.
  • Complete knowledge about ITC provisions in Goods & Service Tax law.
  • Input Tax Credit matching on GST portal after verifying return filing status of vendors.
  • Reconciliation of Input Tax Credit on GSTR-2A/2B portal.
  • Reconciliation of Input Tax Credit ledger in books along with GST Returns.
  • ITC inputs for GST return GSTR-3B & Annual return GSTR-9.
  • Coordination with Purchase department or compliance from Vendors on ITC.
  • Ensure compliances about restriction provided under GST law about ITC claim.
  • Spreading GST ITC related awareness amongst Purchase, Sub-contracting & Project execution departments .
  • Handling Audits of Goods & Service Tax department and Corporate Internal Audit department.
  • Proving inputs on ITC for Income tax tax audit report & yearly return.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.COM) and ICWA qualification.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, financial automation, and finance software.
  • Experience with financial analysis software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
