Purpose and Overview
The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified WordPress developers who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a WordPress developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. They will work closely with our team to ensure that the websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
As a WordPress developer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in PHP development, as well as your knowledge of various PHP development tools. You will be responsible for creating custom themes, plugins, and templates, and ensuring that the websites are responsive and mobile-friendly. Additionally, you will collaborate with our SEO team to implement best practices for on-page optimization and improve the websites' search engine rankings.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Chandigarh (Chandigarh). We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about WordPress development and has a strong understanding of web development principles and best practices. Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients
- Creating custom themes, plugins, and templates
- Ensuring that the websites are responsive and mobile-friendly
- Collaborating with our SEO team to implement on-page optimization best practices
- Optimizing website performance and loading speed
- Testing and debugging websites for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Updating and maintaining existing WordPress websites
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for WordPress-related issues
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development
- Working closely with our team to ensure that project deadlines are met
Requirements
- Graduate or Diploma in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge of PHP development tools
- Proficiency in PHP scripting language
- Experience with PHP-Nuke
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh (Chandigarh)
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with SEO optimization for WordPress websites
