Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Technical Support Engineer at our growing company. As a Technical Support Engineer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our customers. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.

As a Technical Support Engineer, the candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to contribute their expertise and passion to our company's success. They will work closely with customers to understand their technical problems and provide effective solutions. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The Technical Support Engineer will be based in Bengaluru (Karnataka) and will work on-site. The position is full-time, and we are looking for candidates who are graduates and have up to 2 years of experience or are fresher. The salary range for this position is between INR 275,000 to INR 400,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Utilize ticketing tools to track and manage customer requests
  • Resolve computer issues, including hardware and software problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and maintain records of customer interactions and technical solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
  • Assist in the development and improvement of technical support processes and procedures
  • Train and educate customers on the use of our products and services
  • Contribute to the knowledge base and provide feedback to improve product documentation

Requirements

  • Graduate with a degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ticketing tools for managing customer requests
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru (Karnataka)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work on a full-time basis
